Luke is getting baptized! I can't believe that its here. I get so emotional thinking that this is the first major step in his life. Next, its going on a mission and then getting married. Mason and I are so glad that he is taking this step and he is so ready. He tells us that he is going to be Holy on Saturday. He is so funny. Kelli came to us and asked if she could sing, I am a Child of God at his baptism by herself. So she is and then Aunt Sara and Kelli are going to sing, When I am Baptized.. We can't wait!

-Katers is what we call her, has been such a great addition to this family. Her smile and her mass amount of hair is out of this world. Everyone stops us no matter where we are because they want to make a comment on her hair. It is very thick and a honey color..It drives me crazy 'cause there is so much of it. I could put it in a pony tail the first day she was born. The kids love her and they are so helpful.

Kelli is in 1st grade and loves to help me. I'll give her a bath and she will put the lotion on her, get her dressed and bring her to me when its time for her to eat. She is good enough to carry her around the house.. Luke is great with Trey. They have become better buddies. Luke will put Trey down for a nap without my help. He will make him a bottle, read him a story and tuck him in. Wade has been the loving one that helps Kate out when she is crying by getting her binky or coming and telling me she needs to eat. Ohh, and the dog, Duke loves licking her poor face.

We are all getting along pretty well. School has been in for three weeks now and the homework is tough for me. Luke is 3 pages a night that is due the next day, good old 3rd grade, so its a challenge for me to get him to do it right away. Kelli has a packet that is due on fridays so I can be more relaxed with her. All in all, I never thought I would have five kids at 30years old with a dog. But I love my life and the chaos that it brings. Mason and I have a very busy but balanced week. Monday it's FHE, family night. Tuesdays are Masons softball nights, Wednesdays are his basketball night, Thursdays are Girls night out for me, Fridays its night out with friends and Saturdays are the same. Sundays are church and then right back where we started. We love how it goes and everyone gets "their time". Mason and I been married 9 1/2 years and it is only getting better. It's nice to know I done being pregnant and closing that chapter, we are excited and ready to focus on watching them grow up.. This is our life........

She is listening to all the thousands of parents that are cheering with bull horns, air horns, cow bells, and whatever you can think of. It was scary at first she said.

Her dance team did so good. North Fontana, us, won the Parents spirit award for being the loudest and the best signs and were dressed up all in blue. All the girls got trophies. Mason and the boys loved supporting Kelli. It was way different than baseball. Luke said it's just like cheerleading they have on t.v. It started at 1:30pm and got over after 5:00pm. It was long but awesome. It was at Cal State San Bernardino and there were teams all the way down from Long Beach. About 600 girls were there. It was lots bigger than we thought. Love you Kelli!

Dad's Way!

Friday I started having contractions and they lasted all day. I never got the chance to sit down and relax so I didn't want to go to the hospital until I could relax my uterus and give it a break. Luke had a basball game at 5:30 and I promised my friends who I was with all day that if after the game I still was in pain I'd go in. Well, sure enough right after we came home from the game, I drove myself. I hate my irritable uterus. I had another Uti because my urine is always bloody, gross, I know. The blood is also from kidney stones they found in my kidneys. The biggest one they found is 1.8ct. Huge! But the big ones sometimes actually stay high and hang out until after delivery. I then just have lithotripsy which blasts them into hundreds of pieces. But needless to say I was in the hospital staying overnight with stones, low potassium, and contractions. It was a long night. They gave me morphine because my back hurt so bad. We weren't ready for me having to stay overnight but Mason was a trooper and took care of everything.

The next morning he took work off, well did some at home, and got all the kids off to school on the bus. After Wade left at 10:30am he and Trey got to come see me for a couple hours. I got to come home that night which was about 7:30pm and all day I kept calling making sure that the kids were doing there homework. Since it was the last night to do it. Although, I am the drill sergent in that area I came home assured that he was getting Luke's homework done with him. This is what I saw.. Hilarious! Total Mason style.

This desk was just givin' to us and it was in our front patio. He brought it in from outside and he sat down, made Luke stand up and they were able to do two things at once. Play playstation 3 and help with homework. I came in seeing this I had to just laugh!

BBQ at Aunt Ginny's

Last week we went over to Aunt Ginny's house for some real good Bbq'n. Thanks Chuck and Ginny! The kids got to swim and that was an extra bonus for them. It's gets them excited for the summer. This was Trey's first swimming experience in a big pool. He walked right in the deep end and went right under the water and never choked or cried. We were shocked! Mason would put him under the water and then he'd swim right back up. He is 17 months now and he is getting bigger by the day.

February 22nd, Wade Nicholas Turned Four!

This boy is the funniest little thing. When Wade turned one he decided that he didn't want to talk and sleep anymore. It has been a struggle for Mason and I to get these issues under control. We finally feel like he is starting to become normal. But whats really normal anyways? He loves his early intervention preschool. He has learned so much and when I say so much I really mean it. They have turned a kid that couldn't say 20 words into a a kid that is right where he should be at four and in one year. Frost Preschool Program is awesome. They even potty trained him.

When I said that Wade is funny, it's true! Although, there has been struggles with him, I'd never would want to go back. When you have a kid that has problems they really teach you life lessons. You really learn what it is to be a mom and a dad. What your purpose of life is here and really what is means to be a advocate for your child. He has brought Mason and I on a deeper level in our marriage and we truly see that he was brought here by our Father in Heaven to us and to this family for a purpose. He is a special kid and We love him very much!

Yesterday, for instance, he was being cranky and I flicked him in the back of the head and said "start being nice or you are going to your room". He turned around and said, " Don't hit me like that mom!" He has never ever said anything like that before or couldn't get all the words out fast enough to say that so usually he screams because he can't verbally express himself fast enough. As he was looking at me, I grabbed him and started laughing because he was so serious and I was just so happy that we have hit another milestone. It was a pure joyful moment, I told him I was sorry and that I was proud of him for saying all those words. He is the funniest little four year old we know!

Where O where has my little one gone?
Kelli is now officially six. March 21st came and went so fast. She is such a joy to have in our family. She is turning into her own these days and figuring out how to get away with things and how to tell sneaky little lies. Pretty much sums up how I was when I was young. She is the best shopping partner ever! Anytime day or night I need to go the store she is right there with me. I love you Kelli!

Kelli was "Star of the Week" the week of open house and her Birthday. Each kid gets to decorate a poster of themselves and share it with the class. This is hers, just say I loved making it!

Kelli came home from school a couple weeks ago and begged me to put her in cheerleading. At first I told her that I was too busy with Luke doing baseball, and I'm team mom, Wade, starting soccer, and that she already does tap. She used the "all the girls in my class are signing up", sentence on me, so I gave in. Come to find out at signups that she was the only one in her class that signed up, go figures. I told her that no one else signed up and she said, "It's okay, mom, I can meet new friends". She is just like me, people don't scare her. Here is Kelli at one of her practices. Her competetion in April 4th. We can't wait!

Kidney Stones

Argghh! So yesterday I got up to leave for Target when my side started hurting. CRAP! I knew it was another kidney stone. I cried before the pain got severe because I have been through all of this before and it's the worst thing, the worst pain, and I couldn't believe that it was happening again. Kelli and Wade were the only pregnancies that I had them with and now this one. So there I was sitting in my van crying and trying not to move. Any movement or vibrations can send it into full blown, I'm screaming, not crying, and in full panic. I knew I was stuck until it either subsided or I was calling 911. Thankfully, Mason knows when I am crying on the phone, he is to rush home. I am no where near a crier so it's a red flag for him. He came home and I tried to pass the stone on my own instead of going to the ER. I have too many kids with too much school activities to be in a hospital this week. So I drank a 2 liter of coke within 30 minutes and 6 oz of blended raw asparagus. I love coke but hate asparagus. I ended up with two sips of asparagus and denied the rest. BUT after awhile I could feel movement in my ureter and since then I have been sore. So sorry Wendy for missing our meeting last night but I was bed bound. Thanks Heavens thats over..

Ultrasound-

My family has all been waiting for this-- IT'S A GIRL! We went in and I was so nervous because we wanted to know but then again we didn't. After 20 minutes of the Tech looking and me peeking I decided I wanted to know. At first she said she saw something and for me to let her know for sure before she looked again. I then thought, it's a boy. You can see boy parts pretty good. But I sucked it up and said lets find out and sure enough there wasn't anything. The legs were pretty close together but after 30 minutes it still looked like a girl. We are all excited. Mason had to go to work so I decided I wanted to do something fun for the kids. I went and picked up, It's a Girl, balloons and stood outside Kelli's school holding them. She ran up to me and was so shocked, I prepped her for another boy. She instantly wanted to see the pics for proof. She said it was the best day of her life. Wade came home a bit later and I put the balloons right where you walk in the front door. I told him to see what color they were and he said, "are these Kelli's?" and I told him "No, they are your baby sisters", he ran up the stairs and gave Kelli a big hug and said, "I love you", he loves Kelli and was suprised himself, he melted my heart. Luke came home and same thing, I told him to open the front door and he threw it opened and jumped up and down and said "Yes, I wanted a Girl". He gave me a big hug and had a huge smile.
I feel so much Joy today. We love our kids. We love our boys, they bring much entertainment, noise and a lot of Love to this house. Kelli brings much peace, calmness, and high octave chit chatter. Mason and I have a great life and we are so thrilled to bring in another little girl. Even if this baby was a boy, we would still be way excited. Kelli and I get overruled every weekend on what family activity we want to do, we want to shop or do crafts and the boys always want to go to the park to play baseball. Having another girl will help with the votes. So far boys win all the time. We are trying to even the playing field..

Monday Ultrasound

Our computer still is not working so we still can't post pics. Its a bit depressing. So far my heart problems are stabilized with the beta blocker and so far I feel pretty normal. Good to be back to normal, some what. Monday, I have my ultrasound and we are still not sure if we will find out or not. I hate not to know but since this is our last one, there are many emotions that come along with the last final gender, atleast in this family. Kelli wants a sister, Dad wants another girl, the boys say another boy. I on the other hand would like another girl, I haven't had one for six years. Either way we will be excited. If it's a boy then when dad overnighters come he will get 4 boys and that means Kelli and I will get more free time to play. Look for the post on Monday, we will tell what we do..

Heart Problems

Hey Guys! I know that many have been trying to call me and want to know details on what's been going on so here it is. For three weeks now my heart started going bonkers. I went and had three EKG's done and they came back abnormal. So they sent me to the cardiologist and I had an Echocardiogram which indicated that my heart isn't beating normal but not life threatening. Severe enough to put me on a Beta Blocker that will slow down my heart. It beats so fast and stands at 110 which should be in the 60's-80's. That night I started conracting to make all matters worse. Just being at 13 weeks there is nothing they can do for the baby since it won't survive and I can't get my normal medicine to stop the contractions for another couple weeks. The beta blockers gives me severe headaches that last days so I am pretty out of it. If I don't take my meds then I contract and my heart races. I am on a non stress diet. Clearing out all issues that may make my heart race faster than it already is. So girls, I am here but not really. I am tired on having problems when I am pregnant. Thank heavens this is the last! Pinkie Swear!

Sunday Testimony

Yesterday was a big day for Luke. He walked up the aisle with Mason and bore(sp) his testimony. I was getting teary-eyed because I realized that he is getting older and before I know it- I will be listening to him at his farewell. He did such a great job! He wouldn't tell us what he was going to say.. He said that He was grateful for his mom and dad, brothers and sisters, and his new dog. I was so proud of him. He stared at me the whole time making sure I was watching.
This holiday season we are truly blessed with so much. We also got a new Golden Retriever, named Duke. He is a good dog and the kids love him. It's a dream come true for us to have this much. Have a Happy Holidays.. We love you all..

Well, it's true, we are pregnant again. Although we have always talked about having a fifth, I never thought it would really happen. To have any kids is a big blessing so even if it's number five or ten we will always be happy.
Mason stayed home with me the morning that I saw the plus sign 'cause I was crying. Which makes me sad that I did but I just saw how busy my life is and being prego and being sick wasn't something that I knew would work. So far it's working but barely sometimes. Mason kept saying that he was excited and it would be fine. I was crying for selfish reasons because I play indoor soccer and I loved it. I didn't want to give that up. Obviously, the Lord had other plans for me. I played my last game the next day which was a tournament and I said my goodbyes for another 12 months. I will be back.
Due date is July 18th. Delivery will be 1st week in July..

Our family stood on the street corner for a couple hours. It was awesome. WE all loved it!
This picture of my son is great. He is taking a stand for himself and for all the little kids that are having their innocense taken away. Why is this stuff thrown in their face at such a young age? It's not fair to them. We are not sheltering them just giving them time before they have to know things. I don't want someone elses beliefs forced on my children. They know about Gay marriage and what it means. But thats it and it will stay that way until Mason and I feel like they need to know.

About Proposition 8

What is Proposition 8?
Proposition 8 is a simple and straightforward voter initiative. It contains the same 14 words that were previously approved in 2000 by over 61% of California voters: "Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."
Because four activist judges in San Francisco wrongly overturned the people’s vote, we need to pass this measure as a constitutional amendment to restore the definition of marriage as between a man and a woman.

What does a YES vote on Proposition 8 mean?
Voting YES on Proposition 8 does 3 simple things:
It restores the definition of marriage to what the vast majority of California voters already approved and human history has understood marriage to be.
It overturns the outrageous decision of four activist Supreme Court judges who ignored the will of the people.
It protects our children from being taught in public schools that "same-sex marriage" is the same as traditional marriage.

What does a NO vote on Proposition 8 mean?
If Proposition 8 is defeated, the sanctity of marriage will be destroyed and its powerful influence on the betterment of society will be lost. The defeat of Prop. 8 would result in the very meaning of marriage being transformed into nothing more than a contractual relationship between adults. No longer will the interests of children and families even be a consideration. We will no longer celebrate marriage as a union of husband and wife, but rather a relationship between ‘Party A’ and ‘Party B.’ The marriage of a man and a woman has been at the heart of society since the beginning of time. It promotes the ideal opportunity for children to be raised by a mother and father in a family held together by the legal, communal and spiritual bonds of marriage. And while divorce and death too frequently disrupt the ideal, as a society we should put the best interests of children first, and that is traditional marriage. Voting No on Proposition 8 would destroy marriage as we know it and cause profound harm to society.

Will Proposition 8 take away any rights for gay and lesbian domestic partners?
No. Proposition 8 is about preserving marriage; it’s not an attack on the gay lifestyle. Proposition 8 doesn’t take away any rights or benefits from gays or lesbians in domestic partnerships. Under California law, "domestic partners shall have the same rights, protections and benefits" as married spouses. (Family Code §297.5.) There are no exceptions. Proposition 8 will not change this.

If Proposition 8 passes, what will happen to the same-sex marriages that have already taken place?
Under Proposition 8, the validity and recognition of all marriage in California would be limited to a man and a woman, including past and future marriages, as well as marriages from other states or countries. The rights and obligations of same-sex couples who obtained marriage licenses before Proposition 8 passes will be up to the Courts to decide.

If Proposition 8 does not pass, will my children be forced to learn about gay marriage at school?
Yes. In health education classes, state law requires teachers to instruct children as young as kindergarteners about marriage. (Education Code §51890.) If the same-sex marriage ruling is not overturned, teachers will be required to teach young children that there is no difference between gay marriage and traditional marriage.

Why is Proposition 8 needed? Didn’t we already vote on this issue?
In 2000, over 61% of Californians voted to reaffirm the traditional definition of marriage as only between a man and a woman (Proposition 22). However, because this language wasn’t put into the California Constitution, four activist judges from San Francisco wrongly overturned the people’s vote in a closely divided 4-3 decision. Proposition 8 reverses the court’s decision by restoring the definition of marriage as a man and a woman in the state Constitution.
Could the California Supreme Court overturn the people’s vote again and declare Proposition 8 unconstitutional?
No. By amending the state Constitution directly, the court cannot declare Proposition 8 to be unconstitutional, as it did with Proposition 22. Proposition 22 added a regular statute to the California Family Code. Regular statutes are a "lower" law than the state Constitution. By adding the language of Proposition 8 to the state Constitution, which is the highest source of law in the state, the California courts would be required to uphold traditional marriage.

Who supports this initiative?

FACT: The narrow decision of the State Supreme Court effectively renders all civil marriage meaningless and will result in tremendous confusion for children. We should not accept a court decision that results in public school teachers teaching our kids that gay marriage is acceptable. That is an issue for parents to discuss with their children according to their own values and beliefs. It should not be forced on us against our will.

MYTH: This proposition is the work of right wing radicals and extremists to attack the rights of gays.

FACT: Proposition 8 is supported by a broad range of organizations and individuals, including faith leaders representing virtually every faith in California – and those who subscribe to no faith at all. People from every walk of life believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. Over 1.1 million Californians signed the petitions to put Proposition 8 on the ballot.
If gay marriage advocates want to change the definition of marriage, they should have to put a ballot measure before the voters to do so. This has never happened. Instead, they have gone behind the backs of voters and convinced four activist judges in San Francisco to redefine marriage for all of society. That is the wrong approach.
Proposition 8 does not interfere with gays living the lifestyle they choose. However, while gays can live as they want, they should not have the right to redefine marriage for the rest of society.

MYTH: The majority of the State Supreme Court said that gay marriage is a "right", so the rest of us should leave the issue alone.

FACT: Ultimately, the legal meaning of marriage is up to the people to decide. Four judges on the Supreme Court declared that gay marriage is a "right" because the traditional definition of marriage did not expressly appear in the state Constitution itself. Proposition 8 overturns the court’s flawed decision by amending the state Constitution to include the common-sense definition of marriage that was previously approved by over 61% of the voters (Proposition 22, enacted in 2000, "Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California").

We got tickets to the Hollywood Bowl this year. This picture they were making tiles out of felt. They do crafts and then have a big concert. It's great for the kids to get to know other parts of the world. We made shirts and spray painted them to show that we were from America visting.. There was so many kids with us that looked all the same..

Dance Recital, Oregon Trip, Graduation!

Well, its almost summer and I am so excited. I liked doing homework with Luke but I was so ready to be done. Hooray for second grade. He gets out of school next Wednesday and then Friday swim lessons start. Our summer has begun!! Kelli is so excited to start Kindergarten, and whoa! So am I. She is ready to go. She graduated from Preschool on Monday and it was so cute!

She Loves Hello Kitty, so of course, she gets the biggest balloon Party City had!

Kelli had her dance recital and she did awesome!

After her recital we were packed and " Ready To Go". We left straight from there and drove 15 hours to Oregon! We had a family reunion there and we rented a beach house in Newport. It was so beautiful! Our kids loved it. We were there for a whole week. We went crabbing, had bonfires on the beach, grandpa told us stories by the fireplace(see photo)went golfing..

Catching up!
Hello Everyone! We are alive and well. Life has gone by so fast. My last post was in January and I know I need to blog lots more of what is going on here but as you can see my site is not set up right and all of your blog pages are so cute and mine is not so- so can someone help me and tell me how to fix it. Tell me how to make it cute.

Well, I love my friends I just have to say. They have been getting me through some tough situations. I have a three year old that is like a two year old. He is so challenging for me. Everyday I am cleaning up HUGE messes. He is speech delay and may have some loose screws as well. We are getting him checked out through our school district for other issues.

I just have no drive to write about my days when I don't really enjoy them half the time. Sounds bad, I know. But the first year after all my babies my brain goes in psycho mode. I happily take Zoloft. Not afraid to say. It keeps me from snapping at my family. My brain instantly wants to yell when little things happen. So I don't take it because I am depressed, I take it because of the rage that builds up inside me. It ususally lingers off around a year of being on it. It's my happy pills. It does make me less excited about things and my sisters are always like, "are you okay?" They know that spunky Chrissy is in there somewhere and needs to come out. Anyhow.......................................

Now that I have spilled the beans on myself I want to on the rest of my family as well. Wade the terror, the pitbull, the alien, the biter and the list goes on. He yesterday made the biggest mess of his life, knock on wood, I leave Kelli, Wade and Trey home while I run to the bus stop most days, its a block from my house and they know how to walk there if they wanted, and this time when I returned I saw wade and it looked like he had marker all over his body I asked him to show me where it was. He led me into the garage, HOLY CRAP!

This is what I saw. HECK NO! He doesn't know its bad to make messes. We think. He does things like this a couple times a week. If you can see in the picture, its snow cone syrup. Tigers Blood is the flavor. It didn't just spill, it was splattered all over, and within minutes. I opened the garage and told Kelli to go get our Neighbor, Brooke- she is a member and one of my greatest friends, and I just needed help on how to tackle this problem. In the meantime, while I am waiting for her to come over, Wade snuck upstairs to get in the bath because I heard water running, I ran up there and grabbed him from the tub, naked, and put him in front of a pot of water and a sponge. He was ticked and sticky he kept saying. He was naked but I could have cared less at this point. Brooke said she was going to find my camera and not to beat Wade in the meantime while she was gone. He sat on the ground and sure enough his stomach was stuck to his legs and his privates. It was funny but he was screaming because it really wasn't unsticking at all. I really let him just cry I was so mad. I had to take everything out of the garage and mop the whole floor while brooke and her husband helped spray down everything I was bringing out. I so owe them dinner..

So I am going to back up to last week. Luke was out of school for a couple days because a normal routine at the dentist office went bad. He went in to get a normal cavity filled and we instantly found out he was allergic to the Epeniphren in the numbing medicine they hav ein the shots. His mouth was swelling as he is injecting it. The dentist stopped and freaked out, he said, " I have only heard of cases in med school but never seen someone have a reaction to this". He referred me to a pediodontist right away. We went down there and he prescribed a antibiotic and said call him when the swelling went down so they could do a baby root canal on it. Well that night we ended up in the ER of him screaming in pain. They gave him Morphine and sent us home. I called the dentist and told him and what the ER did and made us go back to get more antibiotics because the swelling was so bad. The term is called, Facial Cellulitis. Very painful. He had two IV's and tons more morphine to get through the weekend. Monday came and he had surgery

get the tooth pulled because it was absessed. Poor kid.

They had to give him medicine that mad him drowsy that is why he is on Mason's lap looking droggy. He was in so much pain on the way home (he said that was the worst day of his life)he was screaming and just ticked off...

The kids got way too much stuff! I need to work on giving them ONE big present from Santa. Not three or four like you see..

-We bought a real tree this year because our fake one is 9ft and our ceilings in our current house is 8ft. This year we decided to go with a real one and it backfired on us. The tree died 2 weeks after we got it and there was no way to bring it back. We had to take it down Christmas Eve night. It looks weird without the tree and the kids were confused but they survived..

Life around here is Crazy! The older three kids have been going to bed late, sneaking and eating way too much candy, talking back to us more than usual, and the list goes on. This last week was the worst. Let me just share with you some of the details.
Wade disappeared while I was nursing the baby and I knew he was probably up to no good when 20 minutes went by and I heard not a single sound. A couple hours later I saw where he was, in my closet. My husbands dresser was emptied drawer by drawer and he used the drawers as a step stool to get on top of the dresser. He then pulled down most of our clothes by the racks. My closet is still a bit messy from that. Next, he is always eating candy and when I say put it down, throw it in the trash, is when I am stuck sitting down nursing the baby and can't get up. No matter what I tell him he looks at me and knows that he is the winner in that situation. He just goes outside with his candy. Then, he never will take a nap, I'll try to lay down with him and then the baby will cry so I have to get up and he just follows me out of the room. Who can sleep when they are on a sugar high?
Kelli, this one day was the winner. As I said when I am nursing is when most of this stuff happens. As the good mom that I am, (j/k) I bought Kelli some stamps last christmas. Well, I haven't seen those stamps until recently. I came up stairs to see what she was up to- to see that my wall going upstairs had rows and rows of a purple stamp. It kept going on my laundry door to kelli's bedroom door into the loft and onto the towel closet. I would guess about 500 plus stamp marks. The best thing about this is that the previous owners used flat paint upstairs, so it is not even Mr.Clean eraser washable. AAhh, is all I said. Knowing that we have paint to cover it up and I told her to get a wash cloth and start scrubbing each one. They are mostly faded but not quite. After lunch I noticed the wall in the kitchen had her name written in green crayon and at the bus stop she took a pen and wrote on the upholstery in my van. She is almost five and she never does stuff like this so I knew it's because she needs attention.
Luke- being in first grade comes with a lot of homework and a full day at school. As soon as he is off the bus he starts whining, he is tired and cries about little stuff. There is alot of pressure and responsibility that he has on his shoulders at school and when he is home he wants to relax and he knows that he has homework he has to do and it makes him upset.
So if you are all wondering how its going this is about it. Ohh, this week is going to be even worse, Mason is going to Chicago for work for the whole week. I love my life. If I haven't talked to you in a couple months this is the week to call. Make sure I am still alive. Make sure to read the blog next week, I'm sure it'll top this off.

Tuesday I went into labor at the doctors office and went straight to the hospital. Mason was in San Diego for a work conference and I had to call and tell him rush home. Masons dad took me to the hospital and waited until mason got there. It was planned for me to be induced wednesday morning but at the doctors office I told him that I may not be able to wait that long. Sure enough, I couldn't.
We thought that it would be a fast labor six hours or so but not this time. 15 hours later, no joke. I was so tired but just glad that it was over. We came home friday and he is a great baby. Jaundice a bit. He is on the lights, its called " the glow worm". Its wraps around his belly and its a light that hits the liver. Its nice to have it at home instead of being in the hospital.. He is so cute, he is very mild. A good baby..

Sick Kids and Still Waiting

All of our kids have been sick, cough, cold, throat infection, snotty nose, you name it. It has hit our family within the last couple weeks. Its so hard to fight off stuff when you have two kids that go to school to get it all over again. I took Kelli out of school for this week and Luke has to go to school or I will go to jail. Here in California if a student is absent more than five days the district takes over and investigates why. So I guess when the baby is here for sure, he may miss a day or two so he can stay with the grandparents.
Wade is the kid that got the curse of cold induced asthma. When ever he gets any sickness he is on his neubulizer. Flovent and Albuterol is a must in every car, every purse I own, and we have the neubulizer that plugs into the car, just in case. Mason's side of the family all have the asthma but his brother was hospitalized until he was eight with bad asthma. Our poor Wade gets sick and has to always take medicine for some problem, he is taking after me in that sense. I have been up with him all night because his tonsils are so sore- so bring on the baby because I am up all night anyways.
Okay- so you think that sense its my FOURTH baby that I would be dialated to like a three or four like I was with all the rest at this point. So I go into the doctors to hopefully get good news and what does he say? "Ohh, thats weird!", Your cervix closed up from the last two weeks. I was so mad!!! What!! I was expecting to be like a three or so but no, only me goes open to close. It seems to not make sense. The doctor was shocked because not only did I close the head is still high and not engaged. All my babies were head down and engaged so early that it put me on bedrest, but this baby is still high and not helping my cervix out at all. The worst part is that I am contracting so hard still and so that means its all for nothing. It totally sucks! So the next day, I ran to the bus stop with Luke, and he thought it was way cool that his mom is running with a big ol' belly. But this baby likes where he is and causing major rib pain, burning and aching but as long as that is it, I'm fine. SO -- Wednesday of next week, he'll induce me and it'll be all over with. So hopefully the 17th will be the lucky day. I can survive another couple days but I hope that my kids will be healing their own bodies inthe mean time..

The baby is almost here! We are getting ready. Here are some pictures of the crib start to finish.. The bedding has been through Luke and Wade so its getting old.. I am on bed rest again and its harder than ever! But we have only visited the hospital one time so far. Grandma Jones came for two weeks to help out and get the house ready and organized. We are pretty much set!

I have only gained 12 pounds so far, no hoorays! Its horrible not to gain weight in pregnancy. I am carrying him totally inside- in my back and everything hurts. My boys have been 8 pounds three weeks early. So they will take Trey early so I can at least push him out before he gets to big. I am 35 weeks and dialated, hooray! But still on the contraction medicine, maalox, antacid, and antibiotics for one more week and then they will let me have him if I go into labor on my own. But I do every three days about so no worries on that. We will keep you all posted..
